Collaborative Law
Collaborative Law is a relatively new legal concept whereby, essentially, the parties to a dispute sign a contract not to go to Court. It is designed to empower the parties to a dispute to identify the real issues in contention and to reach an outcome that the parties themselves both choose and can live with.
As a dispute resolution technique it can be used in all areas of law from negotiating a business arrangement to family law disputes.
Collaborative Law is not suitable for all disputing parties and it is important to engage lawyers who have Collaborative Law experience and training.
