Castlemaine Art Gallery & Museum will launch its centenary year marquee exhibition, sponsored by Robertson Hyetts Solicitors, this Saturday, 21 September. The exhibition, Shimmering Light: Dora Meeson and the Thames, features a collection of paintings from Melbourne-born, London-based artist Dora Meeson.

Castlemaine Art Gallery & Museum will launch its centenary year marquee exhibition, sponsored by Robertson Hyetts Solicitors, this Saturday, 21 September. The exhibition, Shimmering Light: Dora Meeson and the Thames, features a collection of paintings from Melbourne-born, London-based artist Dora Meeson.
On display from September 21 to November 10, it is the culmination of four years of research by the gallery’s senior curator Kirsten McKay.
Castlemaine Art Gallery Director, Peter Perry said: “We certainly appreciate the support of Robertson Hyetts Solicitors.“The exhibition launch will be a gala event,” he said.

Robertson Hyetts CEO, David King, said he was pleased to announce major support for the Castlemaine Art Gallery & Museum Centenary Celebrations earlier this year. The gallery is celebrating its centenary this year with a range of initiatives.
