Daniel Jones is a Senior Associate at Robertson Hyetts, specialising in Litigation & Dispute Resolution.
Daniel has gathered more than 15 years of experience in legal practice in Australia, with a further 5 years in the Financial Services and FMCG industries prior to legal practice, and one year assisting the Australian Government International Aid Program as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development in Cambodia.
Some career highlights to date for Daniel are successfully prosecuting Derryn Hinch for contempt of court in 2013 which led to his imprisonment prior to becoming a Commonwealth Senator; and saving the Victorian community hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in legal costs and resources in bringing to an end a farcical long-running piece of litigation in the case of Angeleska v State of Victoria & Ors VSC 598.
Working in law is a contrast to his first job; doing after school deliveries of the Progress Press for the Leader Newspaper Group in Melbourne.
When he isn’t in the office, writing, travelling, photography, politics, sport, friends, food, wine, music, beer, film, gardening, family and walking his two hounds Zimmer and Lexy are just some of Daniel’s hobbies.
