Trent works in the area of Wills and Estates at Robertson Hyetts. Trent has spent many years assisting the recently-retired and those contemplating retirement in the near future, business owners, and young families to achieve their estate planning goals.
The correct structuring of personal and business assets to maximise tax savings, and advising on the intricacies of superannuation law (particularly Self Managed Superannuation Funds) has been a recent focus of Trent’s professional life. He understands the uniqueness of each person’s circumstances, and enjoys using clear language, empathy, and an understanding of his client’s goals to achieve the very best outcome.
Trent was admitted to legal practice in 2006 and has worked in a variety of firms and trustee companies, deciding very early on in his professional life that estate planning was to be his area of expertise. Trent was raised in rural Victoria and taught from an early age to understand the importance of hard work and building strong relationships.
