Trevor is an accredited specialist in the areas of commercial law and property law. He joined Robertson Hyetts as an associate in 2001 after 20 years, as a partner in the firm Heinz & Partners in Ballarat, where he developed great local knowledge and experience in meeting the needs of rural and regionally based clients.
His expertise includes farm and commercial leasing and conveyancing, water law, business law and the sale and purchase of businesses.

Qualifications
Trevor was admitted to practise in 1975 and has Law Institute of Victoria specialist accreditation. Trevor has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (with Honours)
- Accredited specialist in Commercial Law and Property Law
Trevor is a past board member of Strath Haven Aged Care, and currently a board member of ARC Justice which incorporates Housing Justice Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre and Goulburn Valley Legal Centre, which deals with disadvantaged tenants’ rights in both the public and private sector.
He is a general committee member of The Bendigo Law Incorporation, where he supervises continuing legal education for the association, and is a mentor of the Bendigo Law Association Commercial Law Discussion Group.
Outside the office, Trevor is a member of the Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat, and is a proud father of two and grandfather of one. He enjoys walking, travelling, watching movies, natural history documentaries and is a big fan of David Attenborough.
